Hebbal-Mehkri Circle Tunnel Corridor: Karnataka govt clears Rs 2,215-cr road project to ease Bengaluru traffic
To address severe traffic congestion issues along Bengaluru‘s Ballari Road, the Karnataka government on Thursday granted administrative approval for a short tunnel-elevated corridor connecting Hebbal Junction and Mehkri Circle. The project, estimated at Rs 2,215 crore, is set to offer a critical mobility upgrade for North Bengaluru and particularly for airport-bound commuters.

New Delhi: Infra-to-energy player Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd (HMPL) has secured two work orders from NHAI worth around ₹277 crore. The projects have been secured through e-tender process, the company informed the exchanges. The work includes collection of user fee at fee plaza sections of highways in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, it said on Saturday.

Indigo crisis: Railways announces 89 special trains
